Job description

Your Job

Molex is seeking a growth-minded Product Marketing Manager to lead the marketing strategy for a business unit, driving customer value, portfolio growth, and market success. In this role, you will translate business priorities, customer insights, and product strategies into focused go-to-market plans, differentiated messaging, and compelling commercial content. You will work at the intersection of business-unit leadership, product management, engineering, sales, and marketing to accelerate product adoption and profitable growth while ensuring alignment with enterprise marketing standards and customer experience objectives.

What You Will Do
  • Serve as the primary product marketing partner and dedicated point of contact for an assigned business unit, building a deep understanding of its strategy, product portfolio, growth priorities, customers and competitive landscape.
  • Partner with business-unit leaders and product managers to define and prioritize the product marketing roadmap, balancing launch requirements, portfolio initiatives and longer-term growth opportunities.
  • Develop product positioning, value propositions, messaging frameworks and product narratives that clearly communicate technical differentiation and customer value to engineering, procurement, supply chain and other priority audiences.
  • Lead go-to-market planning and execution for new product introductions and strategic portfolio initiatives, including launch objectives, target audiences, channel plans, deliverables, dependencies, milestones and measures of success.
  • Coordinate the creation and readiness of marketing collateral, sales enablement tools, product data, images, CAD models, drawings and other assets required for Molex.com, distribution channels and component aggregator networks.
  • Develop and maintain accurate, compelling product webpages, selection tools and sales content that connect product features and technical specifications to customer applications and benefits.
  • Translate business-unit requests into clear creative briefs, requirements, acceptance criteria and prioritized work for cross-functional marketing partners and Agile pods.
  • Collaborate with sales, channel, regional marketing and communications teams to equip customer-facing teams with consistent messaging, relevant proof points and effective launch materials.
  • Gather and synthesize customer, sales, channel and stakeholder feedback to identify content gaps, refine messaging and inform future product marketing priorities.
  • Monitor launch readiness, content performance and agreed business outcomes; communicate progress, risks, decisions and recommendations to business-unit and marketing stakeholders.
  • Champion product marketing and customer experience best practices within the assigned business unit while maintaining alignment with enterprise brand, digital, content and governance standards.
  • Build trusted relationships across a matrixed organization, resolve competing priorities and proactively remove barriers that could affect launch quality, timing or business impact.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in product marketing, product management, product launches, go-to-market strategy or related activities in a technical or B2B environment.
  • Experience partnering directly with a business unit, product line or portfolio and translating business priorities into actionable marketing plans.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop positioning, value propositions and messaging for complex technical products and varied customer audiences.
  • Experience leading cross-functional product launches and coordinating deliverables across product management, engineering, sales, channel and marketing teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence decisions, manage expectations and communicate effectively across technical and non-technical teams at multiple organizational levels.
  • Highly organized project management skills, sound judgment and meticulous attention to detail in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
  • Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to turn technical information into customer-focused content.
What Will Put You Ahead
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, engineering or a related field.
  • Product marketing, product management or sales experience in electronic connectors, interconnects, electronic components or component distribution.
  • Understanding of engineering and supply chain personas and the information they need across the product discovery, design and purchasing journey.
  • Experience using market, customer and competitive insights to shape portfolio messaging, launch strategy and content priorities.
  • Applied experience with Agile Marketing or Agile Scrum frameworks and tools; relevant Agile, Scrum or product marketing certification is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of the Pragmatic Framework or a comparable product marketing methodology.
  • Ability to advocate for customer-centered product marketing practices while creating collaborative relationships with business‑unit, product and engineering stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams and SharePoint, plus experience with work‑management platforms such as Wrike.
