Job summary

Google Inc. is seeking a Product Manager for Trust, Transparency and Controls to guide privacy experiences and consent tooling across platforms for billions of users.

You will work cross-functionally with engineering, UX, legal and research teams to translate complex regulations into usable privacy controls and transparent data practices. Strong frontend and AI integration experience is preferred.

Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
  • 2 years taking technical products from conception to launch.
  • Experience integrating generative AI tools or LLM interfaces into workflows.
  • Experience building frontend user experiences with research methods.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
  • 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc.).
  • Experience integrating generative AI tools or LLM interfaces into workflows.
  • Experience building and shipping front end user experiences, leveraging qualitative, survey-based, and live-experiment research methodologies.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Master's degree in a technology or business related field.

  • Experience with rapid prototyping and data analysis.
  • Experience in legal, compliance, or policy education, or in collaborating with legal or compliance teams.

  • Drive the product lifecycle for Google's foundational transparency and control surfaces.
  • Act as a strategic responder, transforming regulatory landscapes, compliance positions, and legal frameworks into clear, user-friendly transparency and controls experiences that empower users to make informed and meaningful choices about their data.
  • Partner with core product teams (e.g., Search, YouTube, Play) to design and offer meaningful privacy transparency and controls, enabling next-generation product roadmaps while maintaining user trust.
  • Lead the strategy, requirement definition, and execution of large-scale, high-stakes user communication campaigns reaching billions of global users regarding data practices and policy updates.
  • Partner with engineering to identify bottlenecks and drive infrastructure improvements, ensuring the efficiency, scalability, and technical reliability of our T&C solutions.
