Job summary

Werfen is seeking a Product Marketing professional to define market requirements and manage a product line within the healthcare diagnostics sector. You will coordinate with technical services and field sales, and lead launches of new products.

The role requires proven product management experience in healthcare, strong business acumen, and the ability to train sales teams. Travel up to 25% is expected; the base salary range is stated in the announcement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biological science, business administration or marketing, or equivalent.
• Minimum three years' experience in sales and/or marketing within the healthcare industry.
• Knowledge in Life Sciences: Medical Technology, Biology, Biotechnology, Chemistry

Responsibilities

• Key marketing interface with the Commercial Team, Operations and QA/RA.
• Contributes to planning and creation of advertising and promotional materials.
• Writes digital campaigns and newsletters.
• Keeps informed about developments in medical instrumentation/diagnostic industry as they apply to future marketing plans.
• Provides sales & technical training for Commercial team.
• Works with field sales staff to develop training requirements and sales tools for product launches.
• Makes presentations to customers.
• Leads the launch process for new products, including creating marketing materials and organizing launch events.
• Maintains regular communications with technical services on instrument/reagent issues within the product line.
• Tracks KPIs related to product sales, market share, and customer satisfaction; reports to leadership.

Overview

Position Summary:

Defines and implements market requirements for new products. Product management of a dedicated product line. Prepares marketing support program for a specific product, product line, or product area. Coordinates implementation with technical services and field sales organization. Provides Marketing assistance to field personnel and customers.

Responsibilities

• Keeps informed about developments in medical instrumentation/diagnostic industry as they apply to the company's future marketing plans
• Provides sales & technical training for Commercial team.
• Works with field sales staff to develop training requirements and sales tools required to introduce new products and sales campaigns for all or part of product line.
• Makes presentations to customers.
• Understands all maintenance, performance and advantages of Werfen Transfusion products. Understands technical aspects of Werfen Transfusion and competitive products.
• Lead the launch process for new products, including developing marketing materials, training sales teams, and organizing launch event.
• Maintains regular communications with technical services on problems with instruments and reagents within the product line.
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to product sales, market share, and customer satisfaction, and report findings to leadership.
• Interfaces with all levels of management and to independently resolve conflicts/problems with company peers
• Manages and drives internal projects with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

Minimum Knowledge & Experience Required for the Position:

• Knowledge in Life Sciences: Medical Technology, Biology, Biotechnology, Chemistry
• Bachelor's degree in biological science, business administration or marketing discipline, or equivalent. Prior experience in junior marketing product management positions
• Minimum three years' experience in sales and/or marketing within the healthcare industry

• Approximately 25% of time

The annual base salary range for this role is currently $125,000 to $150,000. Individual employee compensation will ultimately depend on factors including education, relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, and particular business needs.

This role is eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401k plan retirement benefits with an employer match, as well as paid vacation and sick leave. Our sales roles are eligible for participation in a commission plan and our management,and select professional roles,are eligible for a performance-based bonus.
