What You Can Expect
The Product Manager – Total Ankle is responsible for driving marketing activities for the assigned products, including ownership of ankle replacement solutions in development or planned. This is an individual contributor role.
How You'll Create Impact
- Lead global product launch planning, including business objectives, product positioning, and key messages.
- Develop and implement strategic marketing plans with short, mid, and long-term goals, including situational analysis, revenue forecasts, and competitive analysis.
- Lead field marketing efforts aligned with product goals.
- Gather data on customer buying criteria; be the expert on competition and strategies to win business ethically.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams from initiation to product launch and promotion.
- Coordinate trade shows, conferences, and courses, managing related activities.
- Develop and maintain marketing collateral, including surgical techniques, brochures, training materials, videos, and samples.
- Create product marketing bulletins, communicate market releases, and support sales tools development.
- Travel to meet customers and sales teams, attend trade shows, and coordinate surgeon meetings.
- Prepare forecasts, analyze variances, and recommend corrective actions.
- Respond to technical inquiries regarding products.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Your Background
- BA/BS in marketing, biology, business, or related field, plus 4+ years in sales or marketing; experience may substitute education.
- Advanced understanding of assigned products from sales or marketing roles.
- Proven ability to develop and execute marketing and launch plans.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Willing to work at Englewood, Colorado headquarters.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work cross-functionally with limited supervision.
- Strong planning, organization, and analytical skills.
- Clinical and technical aptitude.
- Experience building partnerships across teams to meet business objectives.
- Comfortable in a high-paced environment managing multiple roles.
- Fluent in MS Office Suite.
Travel Expectations
30-40% overnight travel required.
Compensation Data
Salary Range: $125,000 - $135,000 USD annually. Discretionary bonus based on metrics.
