Job summary

Mastercard is seeking a Product Manager- Technical II to join the Switching Solutions team. The role focuses on delivering innovative, secure, and reliable solutions for core Mastercard transaction switching systems, bridging business needs with technology.

You will collaborate with product teams, PMs, and engineering to estimate, design, and drive delivery while acting as the voice of the customer in requirements and documentation, ensuring lifecycle health from development to post-production.

Qualifications

• Understanding of payments processing (four-party model) and Mastercard's role.
• Experience taking ideas from inception to production (requirements, design, testing, implementation, post-production).
• Ability to deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
• Comfortable building relationships and partnering with stakeholders across the organization.
• Experience leading projects: hosting calls, setting agendas, documenting notes.
• Ability to manage multiple projects at once in different stages.
• Follows PM-T best practices and shares lessons learned with the broader team.
• Experience in agile or waterfall project methodologies.

Overview

The Switching Solutions team is looking for a passionate, collaborative and experienced Product Manager - Technical II that will provide innovative, secure, and reliable solutions for core Mastercard transaction switching systems.

In this position you will:

• Be responsible for working with various product teams across Mastercard to understand their business needs and translate to business and functional requirements
• Work cross-functionally with project managers and engineering teams to gather estimates, create designs and drive the delivery of business and functional requirements
• Act as the voice of the customer when writing requirements, reviewing designs and contributing to technical and product documentation
• Continuously monitor the delivery of requirements through their entire lifecycle (i.e. testing, production, post-production)
