Job summary

Taara is seeking a Product Manager, Software Products to shape and improve the UX across customer-facing product surfaces and embedded terminal software. You will translate customer needs into clear technical requirements, prioritize improvements, and deliver an integrated software experience with engineering and UX teams.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of product management experience for technically complex software products, strong technical understanding, and excellent communication

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience delivering technically complex software products.
• Experience translating customer and technical requirements into clear product specifications and backlogs.
• Strong technical understanding of software products and ability to collaborate on architecture and dependencies.
• Ability to conduct user interviews and synthesize insights into clear product direction.
• Cross-functional collaboration with engineering, UX, and customer-facing teams.
• Experience using data, feedback, or product signals to prioritize and iterate.
• Strong communication skills to explain product decisions to diverse stakeholders.
• Willingness to work in the Sunnyvale office at least 3 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Own the product scope, requirements, and prioritization across Taara's customer-facing software applications and embedded terminal software.
• Translate customer and internal needs into clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Drive product road mapping by defining priorities, sequencing releases, and aligning stakeholders on what to build next and why.
• Partner with engineering and UX design to deliver features balancing technical feasibility, usability, and business outcomes.
• Leverage customer feedback and telemetry to guide decisions and improve software quality and UX.
• Support product launches, enablement, and adoption with marketing, sales, and customer success.
