We’re making a lasting impact on our industry and within our communities by addressing the climate, affordability and equity crises through renewables and energy services; engineering and design; construction and facility services.

The Opportunity with McKinstry

At McKinstry, we believe great technology enables great experiences. We invest in enterprise platforms that empower our people, streamline operations, and help us deliver exceptional outcomes for our employees, clients, and communities.

We are seeking a Product Manager to own and evolve our ServiceNow platform. In this highly visible role, you will define the platform strategy and roadmap, partner with stakeholders across the business, and deliver solutions that improve employee experience, operational efficiency, and business outcomes.

With a strong foundation already in place, the opportunity is to shape what’s next—expanding capabilities, driving integrations, optimizing workflows, and maximizing the value of a critical enterprise platform. You’ll serve as the bridge between business needs and technology solutions, translating priorities into impactful outcomes.

We’re looking for someone with strong product management fundamentals, ServiceNow expertise, and a passion for building relationships, solving problems, and driving continuous improvement. This is an opportunity to influence the future of a platform used across the organization.

This role is based in Seattle, WA and operates on a hybrid work schedule.

Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Roadmap
  • Own and drive the ServiceNow platform roadmap, aligning priorities with IT Help Desk leadership, HR, Payroll, and other business unit stakeholders.
  • Define enhancements, new features, and module expansions through close collaboration with business stakeholders, translating needs into clear product requirements.
  • Maintain knowledge of the ServiceNow platform, industry trends, and the evolving ServiceNow product roadmap to inform McKinstry’s strategy.
  • Develop and maintain business cases to support investment decisions and roadmap prioritization.
Platform Maturity & Delivery
  • Lead platform maturity and optimization initiatives — moving McKinstry from implementation to operational excellence across all active ServiceNow modules.
  • Manage the full ServiceNow product lifecycle including modifications, upgrades, releases, and long‑term sustainability planning.
  • Produce well‑written product documentation including Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), user acceptance test plans, and training materials.
  • Partner with IT, ServiceNow consultants, and vendors to specify, deliver, and maintain platform solutions and integrations.
  • Lead coordination of product activities including design reviews, UAT, and go‑live readiness across ServiceNow releases.
  • Work with Technology Partners to deliver user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance testing for ServiceNow enhancements.
Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Facilitate stakeholder working sessions to gather requirements, validate designs, and drive alignment on priorities.
  • Lead end‑user training and enablement efforts to ensure adoption and success across the IT Help Desk and business unit teams.
  • Contribute to cross‑functional innovation by surfacing insights from users and ServiceNow’s evolving capabilities.
Stewardship & Administrative Support
  • Serve as the internal subject matter expert and steward for the ServiceNow platform at McKinstry.
  • Deliver accurate, high‑quality, and timely results in product administrative support.

Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Proven ability to build trusted relationships with stakeholders, understand business needs, and translate requirements into technology solutions that deliver measurable value.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
