Product Manager - Security and Identity Services
Client is seeking a Senior Product Manager (contract) to lead the evolution of our enterprise security and identity management capabilities.
This role will own the vision, roadmap, and execution for permissions management and security integration for development partners. The ideal candidate combines strategic product leadership with hands‑on technical experience in designing and implementing secure, scalable permission and identity frameworks. This is a temporary role expected to deliver key outcomes within a defined timeframe.
Responsibilities
- Define and own the roadmap for client security and identity services across the client ecosystem.
- Translate business needs into secure, scalable solutions for authentication, authorization, and user provisioning.
- Advocate for security best practices and ensure alignment with the client’s platform strategy.
- Collaborate with engineering to design and implement enterprise‑grade security models, including RBAC, group management, and automated provisioning.
- Drive automation for user onboarding and permissions management.
- Lead team ceremonies including stand‑ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Own the backlog and write user stories and acceptance criteria for engineering.
- Work closely with platform, application, data, and governance teams to ensure seamless integration of security services.
- Ensure IAM standards meet compliance with security requirements.
Qualifications
- 8+ years in product management or technical leadership roles focused on security, identity, or enterprise platforms.
- Proven track record of designing and deploying IAM solutions in complex environments.
- Familiarity with MDM systems, SaaS onboarding, and integration with platforms like Salesforce and Azure AD.
- Deep understanding of authentication and authorization frameworks (SSO, OAuth, RBAC).
- Experience with SOC 2 compliance.
- Hands‑on experience with enterprise security tools and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- Strong grasp of API security, data governance, and automation workflows.
- Ability to operate in ambiguity and drive clarity across distributed teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to retail/client data ecosystems.
