Job summary

Menlo Research is hiring a Product Manager for the Agent Harness to own the platform end to end, from ambitious vision to released features. You’ll work closely with researchers, engineers, and technical users to prototype workflows and translate needs into concrete product behavior.

You’ll contribute by shaping planning, tool usage, context management, and recovery for long-running tasks, while ensuring reliability and a strong developer experience in a robotics context.

Qualifications

• Built coding agents or comparable systems; ownership of shipped capabilities.
• Hands-on with unfamiliar codebases; prototype agent workflows and integrate tools.
• Strong product judgment for autonomous workflows and developer experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the agent harness end to end from vision to focused releases.
• Define how the agent plans, uses tools, and manages context, state, and recovery.
• Shape user delegation of complex work to the agent and ensure clear product behavior.
• Work with technical users to identify initial high-value use cases across engineering, design, simulation, and deployment.
• Drive reliability via evaluations, user feedback, and telemetry to improve task completion.
• Prototype agent workflows, integrate tools, investigate failures through code and traces.
• Learn robotics quickly and make informed product decisions with Brain, Hardware, and Platform teams.
