Reality Labs is developing future products in augmented reality and virtual reality with breakthrough work including computer vision, advanced optics, input and interaction, artificial intelligence, neuroscience, mapping the world, and redefining human hearing.
As a Research Product Manager, you will work closely with research and product teams to define requirements for new-to-world experiences within augmented reality—changing the way we work, communicate, and be entertained. Our team envisions, creates, incubates, and transfers advanced technologies from research to product. Research product management roles span hardware/software systems, cloud services, interaction design, application experiences, and artificial intelligence, offering collaboration with Ph.D. researchers and product development teams.
You will ramp up to multiple areas of groundbreaking research, understanding their capabilities and limitations, and develop visions for near, mid, and long-term horizons. You will create technology transfer strategies, roadmaps, and prototypes balancing experience value, technical feasibility, and business cases. Success metrics include advancing research, understanding future product design space, and shipping products or creating new categories for millions of users.
You will partner with research science and product teams to develop innovative experiences that push beyond the current state-of-the-art and contribute to human knowledge.

Compensation ranges from $171,000 to $238,000 annually, plus bonus, equity, and benefits, determined by skills, experience, and location.
