Job summary

Morning Consult is seeking a Product Manager to join our collaborative Product & Engineering team. You’ll own backlogs, define user stories, and partner with engineering to ship iterative releases leveraging our data assets and AI capabilities.

You will grow toward direct client conversations, balancing speed and quality while keeping stakeholders updated on status and progress. This is a remote-friendly role with strong growth potential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in product management or related roles.
• Proactive, low-ego, and collaborative with a team-first mindset.
• Clear communicator who shares status and priorities without prompting.
• Comfort with moving fast and delivering early work for guidance.
• Curious and capable of learning new technical domains.

Responsibilities

• Own a clean, prioritized backlog with user stories, requirements, acceptance criteria, and scope decisions.
• Partner with engineering on solution design and iterative releases that deliver value.
• Prepare for planning and refinement with thorough input and alignment.
• Track metrics to determine whether features are working and inform next steps.
• Proactively surface risks and blockers before they become issues.
• Collaborate with Engineering leads to shape priorities and problem statements.
• Develop domain fluency and understand why features matter and what they unlock downstream.
• Communicate status clearly to stakeholders and keep everyone informed over time.
• As you grow, take on more direct client conversations and discovery questions.
