Job summary

BASSETTI Group in Chicago is seeking a Product Manager to take ownership of their software line for Industrial Quality Management. The role involves understanding clients' operational workflows and guiding them through digitalization.

The ideal candidate will define product strategies, conduct market research, create marketing content, and support sales cycles while having at least 5 years of experience in digital Product Management, ideally in B2B industrial software. Excellent communication skills in English are required.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree from an Engineering School, Business School, or University.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid knowledge of product marketing frameworks.
  • Mastery of Microsoft Office suite and knowledge of DBMS is a plus.

Responsibilities

Job description

As a Product Manager, you will take ownership of our dedicated software line for Industrial Quality Management. You will dive deep into our clients' operational workflows to understand their challenges and guide them through their digitalization journey. Leveraging your experience, you will operate with a high level of autonomy to scale and optimize our product ecosystem.

Your main responsibilities will include:
  • Define and execute the overall product strategy and roadmap.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to map target personas, market trends, and competitor offerings.
  • Continuously refine the marketing plan (SWOT, messaging, 4Ps, positioning, and communication plans).
  • Gather business requirements and improvement requests directly from clients, stakeholders, and sales teams.
  • Prioritize features and development cycles based on cost/business impact and ROI.
  • Create high-impact marketing content for external audiences (webpages, product sheets, presentations, blog posts, webinars, videos, etc.).
  • Develop and update sales enablement tools to empower the business development teams.
  • Support complex sales cycles by participating in client meetings and performing high-level software demonstrations.
  • Collaborate on or review technical quotes, estimates, and commercial offers.
  • Lead internal and external brainstorming sessions to foster continuous product innovation.

Represent the company and showcase our solutions at specialized industrial trade shows and exhibitions.

Knowledges
  • Degree: Master’s degree (or equivalent) from an Engineering School, Business School, or University.
  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Product Marketing: Solid knowledge of product marketing frameworks.
  • Tools: Mastery of Microsoft Office suite. Knowledge of DBMS (databases) is a plus.
Profile
  • Experience: 5 years at least of proven experience in digital Product Management, ideally managing B2B industrial or enterprise software.
  • Experience as a Quality Specialist, Quality Engineer, or Quality Manager within industries such as aerospace, automotive, chemicals, or life sciences will be highly appreciated.
  • Mindset: Pragmatic, structured, highly reactive, and capable of maintaining a strong big-picture vision.
  • Drive: Dynamic, enthusiastic, curious, and proactive with a strong sense of initiative.
  • Language: Fluency in English is mandatory and skills in French will be appreciated
