The Privacy Product team serves as a strategic enabler for Hallmark's digital transformation. We build the capabilities, processes, and technologies that ensure privacy is woven into every consumer interaction, from Hallmark Cards and retail experiences to Hallmark+ and digital media platforms. Our work protects consumer trust, reduces business risk, and unlocks responsible innovation, helping Hallmark achieve its mission of creating deeper connections with consumers. Team members have the unique opportunity to influence enterprise-wide initiatives, shape emerging privacy practices, and drive meaningful outcomes for both the business and the consumers we serve.

WHAT YOU'LL DO & HOW IT SHAPES OUR SUCCESS

Hallmark is seeking a strategic and experienced Product Manager to lead the development and execution of privacy capabilities that support Hallmark Products and Hallmark Media. We are building a privacy program that enables real-time consumer experiences through data that is well-managed, easy to govern, and simple to find, understand, and use. This role will help shape a scalable privacy ecosystem designed to evolve with the needs of the business while ensuring compliance with global privacy regulations and enabling the secure, responsible use of consumer data.

The ideal candidate will bring expertise in privacy technologies, data and AI governance frameworks, data management practices, and cross-functional product leadership. This individual will have a demonstrated ability to translate complex privacy, compliance, regulatory, and technical concepts into clear, actionable solutions that can be understood and embraced by stakeholders across all levels of the organization. They will partner closely with Legal, Engineering, Product, Marketing, and Business teams to develop a shared understanding of risks, opportunities, and product decisions while driving alignment through effective communication, storytelling, and influence.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Execution

  • Lead the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and execution of privacy-related products and capabilities.

  • Drive adoption and optimization of foundational data tools, including Data Catalogs, Data Maps, and Consent Management Platforms.

  • Develop and enhance capabilities supporting data quality management, preference and consent management, data enrichment and profiling, and identity resolution.

  • Prioritize product features, define epics and user stories, and partner with agile development teams to efficiently deliver high-quality solutions.

  • Gather, analyze, and apply data to define KPIs, build business cases, establish requirements, and measure product performance.

  • Build alignment and drive decision-making in complex, ambiguous, and highly regulated environments.

Privacy & Compliance

  • Lead the development of privacy rights automation capabilities, including Data Subject Access Request (DSAR) processes and consent enforcement across systems and platforms.

  • Ensure compliance with applicable privacy laws and regulations, including GDPR, CCPA, CPRA, PIPEDA, Quebec Law 25, APP, the App Store Accountability Act, VPPA, and other emerging requirements.

  • Partner with Legal, Compliance, and Business stakeholders to translate regulatory requirements into scalable product capabilities.

  • Implement and champion Privacy by Design principles throughout the product lifecycle.

  • Monitor regulatory changes and proactively evolve product capabilities to maintain compliance.

  • Support and influence responsible AI and AI privacy governance initiatives.

Cross-Functional Leadership & Collaboration

  • Champion a connected, agile operating model that aligns Product, AdTech, Martech, HMK.com, Hallmark+, HCN, and Enterprise Data teams around privacy-safe, data-driven experiences.

  • Partner with engineering and delivery teams through agile ceremonies, backlog prioritization, and release planning to ensure timely delivery of high-impact features.

  • Communicate product vision, priorities, progress, risks, and outcomes to leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Foster collaboration across technical and non-technical teams to ensure successful adoption and implementation of privacy capabilities.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrated ability to simplify complex technical, legal, regulatory, or business concepts into clear, actionable insights for diverse audiences.

  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and storytelling skills with experience influencing stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Legal, Marketing, Operations, and Executive Leadership.

  • Proven ability to build consensus and drive outcomes across cross-functional teams.

  • Experience translating abstract, high-risk, or highly regulated concepts into practical, consumer-focused solutions.

  • Experience developing and managing technology products in an agile environment.

  • Knowledge of privacy technologies, consent management platforms, data governance frameworks, and identity resolution concepts.
