Job summary

KODE Labs, a Detroit-based real estate technology company, seeks a Product Manager — Optimizations to lead data-driven product capabilities that improve operational performance. You will work with Data Science, Engineering, Design, customers, and domain experts to turn data and algorithms into reliable products.

Building-industry experience is valuable but not required. You will define requirements for data quality, run pilots, and track KPIs to measure impact and guide scaling.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Product Management experience building software products.
• Experience with data science, ML, forecasting, recommendations, analytics, or optimization products.
• Strong understanding of how models move from experimentation into production software.
• Experience defining baselines, experiments, product metrics, and measurable business outcomes.
• Ability to make complex model outputs understandable to customers and internal teams.
• Experience working across Data Science, Engineering, Design, and customer-facing functions.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Requirements

5+ years of Product Management experience building software products.

Experience with data science, machine learning, forecasting, recommendations, analytics, or optimization products.

Experience defining baselines, experiments, product metrics, and measurable business outcomes.

Ability to make complex model outputs understandable to customers and internal teams.

Experience working across Data Science, Engineering, Design, and customer-facing functions.

NICE-TO-HAVES

Experience with mathematical optimization, time-series forecasting, anomaly detection, or predictive analytics.

Experience building products that recommend or automate operational decisions.

Experience in energy, smart buildings, HVAC, IoT, or another operationally complex industry.
