Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of product management experience in manufacturing, consumer durables, or a related industry.
• Experience supporting new product development initiatives from concept through launch using a stage-gate or similar product development process.
• Ability to understand technical product concepts and translate them into clear customer value.
• Strong analytical and communication skills to support collaborative decision-making.
• Experience partnering with cross-functional teams including engineering, supply chain, marketing, and sales.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 15%.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic product plans aligning pricing, distribution, and promotions with long-term business goals to support revenue and market growth.
• Guide new product development and innovation initiatives through the full stage-gate process.
• Build collaborative relationships with external customers by sharing insights and identifying opportunities for category growth.
• Work with Revenue Growth Management, Sales, Analytics, and Finance to understand channel dynamics and pricing strategies.
• Contribute to go-to-market approaches by guiding product and business decisions.
• Collaborate with Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality to support launches and performance.
• Advocate for the voice of the customer by understanding needs and market trends.
• Communicate product strategies clearly to stakeholders.
• Support sales teams through training and industry events; engage with partners and associations.
• Partner with Brand, Channel Marketing, Digital, and Commercialization teams to co-create marketing materials.
• Review product-related communications for clarity and consistency.
• Provide training to internal teams and external partners on product offerings.
• Maintain regular communication with field sales teams, including ~15% travel.
• Contribute to additional projects and responsibilities as needed.

Product Manager

You will play an important role in supporting the growth and success of assigned product lines within the Moen B2C business, with a focus on adjacency opportunities that contribute to broader business goals. You will help shape product strategies by aligning product offerings, channels, and pricing in ways that meet both customer and business needs.

This role calls for curiosity, empathy, and thoughtful analysis to understand market trends and customer experiences. You will work closely with cross-functional partners to develop meaningful strategies, communicate shared goals, and contribute to outcomes that strengthen market presence over time.

POSITION LOCATION:

What you will be doing:

• Support the development of strategic product plans by aligning pricing, distribution, and promotional approaches with long-term business goals to support sustainable revenue and market growth.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to guide new product development and innovation initiatives through the full stage-gate process.

• Partner with Brand, Channel Marketing, Digital, and Commercialization teams to co-create marketing materials and promotional strategies.
• Review product-related communications to ensure clarity, consistency, and accuracy.
• Provide training and guidance to internal teams and external partners on product offerings and updates.
• Maintain regular, supportive communication with field sales teams, including occasional travel (approximately 15%).
• Contribute to additional projects and responsibilities as needed.

• Familiarity with connected product technologies or smart home categories.

Additional Information

Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $90,000 USD - $130,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.
