Job summary

Machina Labs in California is seeking a senior product manager to lead the ML and physics simulation roadmap for our Roboforming platform. You will define priorities, balance tradeoffs, and communicate direction to engineering and leadership.

You will run sprints for the ML/Physics Sim team, conduct user research with process engineers, and write engineers-ready product requirements with depth for strong tradeoffs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of product management experience in technical software environments.
• Proven track record of shipping complex solutions and driving outcomes.
• Ability to debate architecture choices and understand data requirements for ML initiatives.
• Deep curiosity about users and a talent for communicating with executives.

Responsibilities

• Own the ML and physics simulation roadmap; define priorities and tradeoffs for engineering and leadership.
• Run sprints for the ML/Physics Simulation team and drive delivery from discovery through release.
• Conduct direct user research with internal process engineers to understand needs and ML opportunities.
• Write clear product requirements with technical depth for informed tradeoffs.
• Become the internal expert on cell-level behavior, robots, material types, and predictive impact.
