Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or five years of experience in product development, product management, project management, service line management, network development, strategic planning, marketing, or business development.
• Four years of experience in health care, health insurance, managed care, employee health benefits management, or self-insured plan administration.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Manages, insurance products (including performance, marketability, and strategic positioning). This also includes management of associated vendor/partner relationships and contracts.
• Ensure products meet highest levels of market need, administrative efficiency, customer satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and financial performance. Monitor key performance indicators for assigned product lines.
• Interfaces with a project manager, product team, operational leads, sales team, and other stakeholders. Responsible for the day to day operations related to the assigned product as the internal product expert in support of the operational needs of the product
• Evaluates new product opportunities, geographic/service area expansion, new market entry and potential strategic partnerships to meet growth objectives of SelectHealth. Monitors national carrier and local competitor products, positioning, strategies, networks, as well as local and national industry trends. Utilizes customer research and market/competitive intelligence to ensure optimal product positioning. Strategic Planning

Qualifications

Contract Type and Working Conditions

This is an exempt, full-time position. With this position, you are eligible to participate in the Annual Pay for Performance (AP4P) Plan. This plan enables Intermountain Health to provide leaders with an additional performance compensation opportunity. This position can be performed remotely with business travel as-needed. Intermountain Health maintains employment registration in Utah, Idaho, Nevada, Colorado, Montana, and Wyoming. Currently, we are not hiring remote workers in the following states: Please note that a video interview through Microsoft Teams will be required as well as potential onsite interviews and meetings. 40 The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
