Job summary

AccuWeather is seeking a Product Manager, Mapping and Weather Visualization to lead how we visually represent information across web, app, and B2B products. You will shape features, design experiences and drive end-to-end delivery from concept to launch.

Reporting to the SVP, Digital Strategy, the role requires strategic thinking, strong communication, and a passion for geospatial data. A junior to mid-level PM who thrives on science and data visualization will fit well.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with 4-6 years' experience in product management.
Experience with web and app platforms and frameworks.
Strong knowledge of digitally distributed products and technology.
Experience writing detailed requirements for products (wireframes, criteria, business cases).
Ability to interact and communicate with product, design, and development teams of all levels, distributed staffing models.
Meticulous attention to detail with broad strategic orientation.
Comfortable prioritizing pipelines based on strategic evaluation of goals.
Proven leadership experience and ability to communicate to upper management.
Exceptional communication skills.
Creative and curious with ability to work within practical boundaries.
Adaptive to rapidly changing environments.

Responsibilities

Develop solutions for current and future visualizations to drive user engagement and audience growth.
Facilitate communication across the organization, collecting and analyzing feedback from customers and stakeholders to shape requirements.
Collaborate with UX/UI/Interaction teams to create exceptional user experiences while supporting monetization efforts.
Work with partners and cross-functional teams to extend AccuWeather's reach and feature set.
Understand audience needs and the features they use and want.
Monitor product performance and address challenges as they arise.
Lead a scrum team of engineers and product designers to execute plans quickly.
Own end-to-end project success from requirements through design, development, launch and post-launch analysis.
Develop strategy and creative recommendations to expand product vision across the portfolio.
