Product Manager – Load Bank Solutions – Mission Critical – Remote
This opportunity is with a leading manufacturer of Load Bank Solutions supporting the mission-critical industry, including data centers, power generation, and commissioning environments. We are seeking a Product Manager to lead the strategy and execution of Load Bank product lines. This role involves developing product roadmaps, identifying new product opportunities, collaborating with engineering and sales teams, and analyzing market trends and customer needs. The ideal candidate will have a technical background, experience with new product development, and strong knowledge of data center infrastructure and electrical commissioning practices. Any previous experience as an electrical commissioning agent would be huge!

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute strategic plans for assigned product lines to increase revenue and improve margins
• Build a 5-year product roadmap by identifying opportunities, estimating sales potential, and aligning with development resources
• Act as a Customer Advocate and gather customer research for feedback for new product ideas and improvements
• Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer segments to drive product decisions
• Support new product development efforts by contributing market insights, pricing strategies, and customer requirements
• Develop product specifications and manage cross-functional input from engineering, sales, and marketing
• Deliver financial and unit forecasts, manage lifecycle performance, and identify areas for continuous improvement
• Act as a resource to sales teams, participating in field visits, customer meetings, and product presentations
• Lead competitive benchmarking and translate findings into actionable strategies
• Monitor key metrics to evaluate product performance and propose improvements to increase market share
• Manage new product development timelines, ensuring timely execution and delivery to market

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree a huge plus – preferably in Business, Engineering, or a related field
• 1-3+ years of experience in product management, product development, or technical sales/marketing
• Experience in Load Banks, electrical power systems, or data center commissioning highly preferred
• Previously worked as an electrical commissioning agent that wants to stop traveling a huge plus!
• Strong understanding of data center infrastructure and mission-critical environments
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and translate into business action
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, etc)
• Strong presentation and communication skills; able to influence internal and external stakeholders
• Demonstrated project leadership, including scheduling, cross-functional collaboration, and milestone tracking
• Previous military experience a huge plus! Candidates with backgrounds in Electrical/Mechanical roles in the Navy (Nukes, EMN, ETN, MMNs, Seabees), Army (Power Generation), Air Force (Power Production), Generator Techs, Coast Guard, or Army National Guard are highly encouraged to apply.
