We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Product Manager – Integrations & APIs to lead the strategy, development, and scaling of our integration ecosystem. This role is critical to enabling seamless interoperability between our HR Tech SaaS platform and the broader HRIS, ATS, Payroll, Benefits, and Productivity software ecosystems. You will work across the full employee lifecycle—from recruitment and onboarding to core HR and offboarding—to design robust APIs and deliver pre-built integrations that drive customer value, streamline HR operations, and enhance product extensibility.

This is a salaried, non-exempt position with an annual base range of $115,000 - $130,000, in accordance with experience and qualifications. Your contributions will include:

  • Owning the end-to-end product vision and roadmap for integrations and APIs across Rival product suite.
  • Defining the strategy for native, third-party, and partner-built integrations (e.g., ATS, payroll providers, benefits platforms, background check, e-signature, learning systems).
  • Prioritizing integration initiatives based on customer needs, strategic alignment, technical feasibility, and ROI.
  • Defining and maintaining scalable, secure, and well-documented RESTful APIs and webhooks that allow external developers and customers to build on our platform.
  • Collaborating with engineering to design robust APIs that meet high standards of usability, versioning, rate limiting, and error handling.
  • Acting as the internal champion for API-first development and external developer experience.
  • Partnering with Engineering, Design, Customer Success, Sales, and Partnerships to deliver capabilities that delight users.
  • Contributing to the evolution of our integration data mapping and marketplace strategy.

Required Skills:

  • Ability to communicate highly technical information in an easy-to-consume format.
  • Ability to define, prioritize, and execute on a product roadmap for APIs and integrations.
  • Deep understanding of how APIs work, enabling effective collaboration with product managers and engineering to establish a cross-functional plan.
  • Ability to define how data should be structured, normalized, and transferred between systems while ensuring integrity and compliance.
  • Thinks in terms of modularity, reusability, and scalability.

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor’sdegreeincomputerscience,businessorrelatedfieldstronglypreferred.
  • 3 years of product management experience, ideally in SaaS, with at least 2 years focused on integrations or APIs.
  • Strong understanding of SOAP and RESTful APIs, data mapping/transformation, authentication (OAuth 2.0), and webhook mechanics.
  • ProficientwithAgiledevelopmentmethodologies.
  • Experience in web-based data integration methods handled via API, SFTP, Microsoft Azure and Logic Apps, and relational database, including SQL Server.
  • Familiarity with the common tools, data flows, and integration needs across the HR domain.
  • Experienceworkingwithoffshore/nearshoreteams.
