We are seeking a product manager to join the body-worn camera team, initially focusing on hardware development. The role may expand to include software, firmware, imaging, and connectivity. Candidates should have technical experience, attention to detail, an interest in devices, and a strong work ethic.

What You’ll Do

Location: USA (Scottsdale, Atlanta, Boston, Seattle, Denver)
Reports to: Director of Product
Direct Reports: None

  • Collaborate with customers and internal teams to understand market needs and prioritize product improvements and solutions.
  • Deeply understand our products and customers to define requirements and guide engineering efforts.
  • Coordinate with engineering teams and project managers to balance scope, functionality, performance, and timelines.
  • Generate creative solutions for technical, workflow, and business challenges.
  • Collect and analyze data from field performance, market feedback, and end users.
  • Make data-driven decisions, supplementing with intuition when necessary.
  • Address constraints effectively and proactively reduce ambiguity for your team and peers.
  • Set and monitor performance metrics for product functions.
  • Enhance customer satisfaction and reduce return rates through incremental improvements.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or business field or equivalent experience.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable working in ambiguity.
  • 2+ years as a Product Manager for hardware/software devices.
  • Experience with quality assurance, validation, and reliability.
  • Creative problem-solving skills for user interaction challenges.
  • Experience in requirements gathering, design, UX research, and user testing.
  • Track record of delivering successful products aligned with business goals.
  • Excellent communication skills, adaptable to technical, marketing, and customer audiences.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple product requests and roadmaps.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (up to 15%).

Pay: The starting base salary ranges from USD 113,250 to USD 166,100 depending on geographic market and other factors. Details available at www.axon.com/careers/benefits.
