Job description

At DraftKings, AI is becoming an integral part of both our present and future, powering how work gets done today, guiding smarter decisions, and sparking bold ideas. It’s transforming how we enhance customer experiences, streamline operations, and unlock new possibilities. Our teams are energized by innovation and readily embrace emerging technology. We’re not waiting for the future to arrive. We’re shaping it, one bold step at a time. To those who see AI as a driver of progress, come build the future together.

The Crown Is Yours

As a Product Manager II, you'll lead high-impact initiatives that shape our customer experience and drive measurable business results. In this role, you'll define product strategy, manage complex roadmaps, and collaborate across disciplines to deliver innovative, scalable solutions. You'll serve as the technical product leader for our content management platform, helping power engaging experiences across Sportsbook, Casino, Predictions, and our broader app ecosystem. You'll guide teams through ambiguity, champion customer needs, and unlock opportunities to scale how content is created, managed, and delivered.

What You'll Do
  • Own the end‑to‑end product lifecycle - from opportunity discovery and roadmap definition to launch, iteration, and optimization.
  • Serve as the technical authority for the content management platform, leading platform architecture decisions, content modeling, API strategy, and technical discussions alongside Engineering.
  • Co‑own the platform roadmap with senior Product Management leadership, prioritizing engineering investments that deliver the greatest customer and business impact.
  • Define and evolve API contracts while maintaining a clean separation between content authoring, storage, delivery, and presentation layers to support long‑term platform scalability.
  • Build and expand platform capabilities that power content experiences across Sportsbook, Casino, Predictions, and other customer experiences, including personalization and jurisdiction‑specific content delivery.
  • Drive automation and platform enablement by delivering tools and capabilities that reduce manual effort, empower operators, and enable other teams to build more efficiently on the platform.
  • Translate business goals and customer needs into well‑defined requirements, success metrics, and delivery plans while partnering closely with Engineering, Analytics, User Experience, and business stakeholders.
  • Use qualitative insights, quantitative data, and experimentation to prioritize initiatives, evaluate performance, communicate trade‑offs, and continuously improve the platform.
What You'll Bring
  • A Bachelor's Degree or any suitable combination of education, experience, and training.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Product Management with a strong track record of launching and scaling technical platforms or customer‑facing experiences.
  • Experience defining platform architecture, content management systems, API strategies, or other highly technical platform capabilities in close partnership with Engineering teams.
  • Strong understanding of content management platforms, content modeling, API design, and scalable platform development principles.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the sports betting industry, including odds, markets, parlays, and how editorial and promotional content enhances the customer experience before and during live events.
  • Proven ability to make data‑driven decisions, prioritize competing initiatives, and balance short‑term execution with long‑term platform strategy.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence technical and business leaders across cross‑functional teams.
  • A collaborative, customer‑focused mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguity and deliver high‑impact solutions in a fast‑paced environment.
