Job summary

This role serves as the bridge between business stakeholders, engineering, analytics, data governance, and PMO to deliver scalable, secure data solutions. The ideal candidate combines strong product management fundamentals with deep knowledge of data platforms, analytics, and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, Business, or related field.
• 5 years of Product Management experience.
• Experience with enterprise data platforms, analytics products, data warehouses, or BI solutions.
• Strong understanding of data architecture, data modeling, ETL/ELT concepts, APIs, and analytics ecosystems.
• Hands-on experience with Agile delivery teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Data Platform and Analytics products.
• Own end-to-end lifecycle of data products from discovery to delivery and optimization.
• Partner with Data Engineering, Analytics, Governance, PMO, and other product teams.
• Drive data quality, governance, security, and regulatory compliance initiatives.
• Lead agile delivery with backlog management, sprint planning, and reviews.

Product Manager - Data Platform & Analytics

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Product Manager to drive the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of enterprise data products and platform capabilities. This role will serve as the bridge between business stakeholders, engineering teams, analytics teams, data governance, project management, and other product organizations to deliver scalable, secure, and impactful data solutions.

The ideal candidate combines strong product management fundamentals with a deep understanding of data platforms, analytics, reporting, governance, and modern data architectures. You will play a critical role in enabling data-driven decision-making, supporting business growth, and building reusable data capabilities across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Roadmap

• Define and own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Data Platform and Analytics products.
• Identify opportunities to leverage data as a strategic asset across business functions.
• Prioritize initiatives based on business value, customer impact, technical feasibility, and organizational goals.
• Develop and monitor product success metrics and KPIs.

Data Product Management

• Own the end-to-end lifecycle of data products, from discovery and requirements gathering through delivery and optimization.
• Define product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and release plans.
• Drive the development of scalable, reusable, and self-service data products.
• Ensure data products are aligned with business priorities and user needs.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner closely with Data Engineering teams to design and deliver scalable data platform capabilities.
• Work with Analytics teams to identify business insights, reporting needs, and decision-support solutions.
• Collaborate with Data Governance teams to ensure data quality, ownership, lineage, privacy, security, and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with Project and Program Management teams to manage dependencies, timelines, risks, and delivery milestones.
• Engage with Product Managers across the organization to align on shared capabilities, integrations, and business outcomes.
• Facilitate communication between business and technical stakeholders to ensure successful product adoption.

Data Platform & Governance

• Drive initiatives that improve data quality, accessibility, reliability, and trust.
• Partner with architects and engineering teams to establish scalable platform capabilities.
• Support metadata management, governance frameworks, and compliance requirements.
• Define monitoring and operational metrics for platform and product performance.

Analytics & Business Insights

• Work closely with business stakeholders to translate analytical needs into actionable solutions.
• Drive dashboard, reporting, and self-service analytics initiatives.
• Establish measurement frameworks that demonstrate product value and business impact.
• Support advanced analytics, AI, and machine learning initiatives through strong data foundations.

Agile Product Delivery

• Manage and prioritize product backlogs.
• Lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, and product reviews.
• Support engineering teams in making informed trade-off decisions.
• Ensure successful delivery of roadmap commitments while balancing technical debt and innovation.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, Business, or a related field.
• 5 years of Product Management experience.
• Experience working with enterprise data platforms, analytics products, data warehouses, or business intelligence solutions.
• Strong understanding of data architecture, data modeling, ETL/ELT concepts, APIs, and analytics ecosystems.
• Hands-on experience working with Agile delivery teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Familiarity with tools such as Snowflake, Databricks, Power BI, Tableau, Azure Data Factory, or similar technologies.
• Experience working in Payments, FinTech, Financial Services, Risk, Fraud, or Compliance domains.
• Exposure to Data Governance frameworks and regulatory requirements.
• Experience supporting AI/ML and advanced analytics initiatives.
• Product certifications such as CSPO, SAFe Product Manager, or equivalent.
