Job summary

Google is seeking a Product Manager for Governance Risk and Compliance Tooling and Infrastructure in Austin, TX. You will guide cross-functional teams from idea to launch, bridging regulatory requirements with engineering solutions and focusing on AI-enabled risk tooling that touches millions of users daily.

You will own the product lifecycle end-to-end, write PRDs, manage backlogs, and define success metrics while partnering with Risk, Compliance, Legal, UX, and Data Science to deliver scalable

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
• 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, 0 to 1).
• Experience integrating generative AI tools or LLM interfaces into workflows.
• Experience building or implementing AI/ML features or infrastructure (e.g., working with LLMs, NLP, or data pipelines).

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the product goal for integrating AI/ML capabilities into GRC infrastructure (e.g., automated document classification, LLM-based risk summarization, and predictive risk scoring).
• Drive the development of scalable backend services and tooling that support data ingestion, risk engines, and reporting needs.
• Manage the entire product lifecycle from ideation to launch, including writing detailed PRDs, managing backlogs, and defining success metrics.
• Work closely with Risk and Compliance practitioners to translate domain expertise into technical requirements.
• Partner with Engineering and Data Science teams to prioritize high-impact AI features while ensuring data privacy and ethical AI standards are maintained.
