AlphaSense is seeking a Product Manager specializing in Financial Data Generation & Presentation to own and evolve our financial data taxonomy and rules across sectors. You will collaborate with engineering, research, product, and sales to translate data standards into scalable datasets for capital markets clients.

You should bring 5+ years in data governance or taxonomy with a strong interest in financial data and AI-driven automation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with data structures, taxonomy, or data governance.
• At least 2 years in product management or closely adjacent cross-functional role.
• Genuine interest in financial data and capital markets.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve AlphaSense's proprietary financial data taxonomy across sectors and standards.
• Define data generation rules for data types to ensure intuitive client discovery and understanding.
• Serve as the internal SME on financial data generation and presentation with clear documentation.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, research, product, sales, and client-facing teams.
• Identify gaps as new companies, metrics, and datasets are onboarded and drive resolution with stakeholders.
• Define use cases and requirements for new datasets beyond core statements for scalable onboarding.
• Design and maintain data structures and taxonomy with AI and LLM compatibility as a core consideration.
• Lay the foundation for financial data expansion through repeatable frameworks and processes.
