Job summary

HP seeks a Principal Product Manager to lead its Enterprise Integration strategy, moving from point-to-point APIs to a scalable, productized API ecosystem. You will define an API-as-a-product approach, enabling reusable capabilities and accelerating developer productivity.

You will craft an Integration Fabric and an Intelligence Fabric, define governance and a centralized API catalog, and align with platforms like SAP, ServiceNow and Adobe.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in product management, with deep experience in APIs, integration platforms, or data platforms.
• Proven track record of building platform products at enterprise scale.
• Strong understanding of API design, governance, and lifecycle management.
• Integration patterns (event-driven, REST, GraphQL, streaming, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Lead API productization strategy transforming APIs from point solutions into reusable, discoverable product offerings.
• Define enterprise integration patterns and a unified API catalog with governance and lifecycle management.
• Partner with Data teams to expose data via standardized APIs and ensure AI-readiness for API experiences.

Description -

Role Summary

We are looking for a Principal Product Manager to lead the evolution of HP's Enterprise Integration strategy-from fragmented, point-to-point integrations to a scalable, productized API ecosystem. This role will define and drive a shift toward API-as-a-product, enabling reusable business capabilities, accelerating developer productivity, and laying the foundation for an AI-first, composable enterprise. You will play a pivotal role in transforming our integration landscape into a unified Integration Fabric, and ultimately an Intelligence Fabric that powers next-generation digital and AI-driven experiences.

What You'll Own

• API Productization Strategy Transform APIs from point solutions into reusable, discoverable product offerings
  Define capability-based packaging aligned to business domains (B2C, B2B, Partner ecosystems)
  Drive standardization across design, classification, and maturity frameworks
• Enterprise Integration Fabric Define integration patterns that unify platform, SaaS, and custom-built APIs
  Establish a holistic, cross-application view of enterprise APIs
  Reduce point-to-point integrations through reusable architecture patterns and services
• Data + API Convergence Partner with Data teams to define and expose data products via APIs
  Enable consistent access to enterprise data through standardized interfaces
  Align API strategy with enterprise data governance and cataloging
• AI-First APIs & Developer Experience Define APIs optimized for AI agents, automation, and developer productivity
  Build APIs that are discoverable, composable, and machine-consumable
  Enable next-gen use cases including agent orchestration and AI-driven workflows
• Governance, Standards & Catalog Define and enforce API governance (design standards, lifecycle, quality gates)
  Drive adoption of a centralized API catalog with metadata, classification, and maturity scoring
  Establish KPIs around reuse, adoption, and lead time reduction
• Platform & Partner Alignment Partner with platform teams (SAP, ServiceNow, Adobe, Data Platform, etc.) to define integration strategies
  Identify common patterns and shared capabilities across platforms
  Rationalize vendor, platform, and custom APIs into a unified model

• SaaS/platform ecosystems and enterprise architectures
• Experience translating fragmented landscapes into scalable, reusable products
• Ability to influence across engineering, architecture, and business stakeholders

Pay & Benefits

The pay range for this role is $147,050 to $230,850 USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
