Job summary

Fundamental is seeking a Product Manager to own and ship ML/data science products built on the NEXUS platform. You will work closely with data scientists, engineers, and applied AI teams to turn customer insights into a compelling roadmap and end-to-end experiences for data scientists.

You'll define usable, transparent workflows for AI agents, balance automation with control, and drive adoption through measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience owning and shipping ML or data science products with an engineering team.
• 2+ years hands-on data science experience with classification, regression and time series.
• Experience with structured/tabular data and predictive ML workflows.
• Experience building agentic products and understanding interaction patterns for trust and control.

Responsibilities

• Own and lead roadmap and product decisions for data science products from discovery to launch.
• Collaborate with data scientists to understand needs and usage patterns.
• Shape AI agents and data science tools across the platform while preserving flexibility for technical users.
• Define how users guide agents, inspect work, and understand results with transparency and control.
• Oversee MLOps workflows to manage and monitor predictive quality in production.
• Translate insights from customer discovery into practical product requirements.
