Job summary

NinjaOne seeks a Product Manager to join the Endpoint Management & Security team, focusing on reducing risk across managed endpoints. You’ll define the vision, own parts of the roadmap, and work with engineering, design, and support to deliver practical capabilities.

Bring IT/security background and 2+ years of product leadership in B2B SaaS; you’ll translate insights into improvements and write clear requirements for a cohesive platform experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT is preferred but not required.
• 5+ years in IT/security or technical roles.
• 2+ years of strong product management experience in B2B SaaS or IT management.
• Solid background in Windows/macOS/Linux operating systems.
• Experience in endpoint management, device configuration, automation, or scripting.
• Experience in MSP or internal IT roles.
• Deep understanding of how IT teams manage endpoints.
• Able to discuss technical concepts with engineers without writing production code.
• Proven ability to take features from idea to delivery with customer feedback.
• Strong written and verbal communication; data-informed decisions.
• Able to influence stakeholders without formal authority.
• Experience working in a multi-PM environment is a plus.

About the Role

We are growing and expanding our Endpoint Management & Security product team and are seeking a Product Manager to work with a group of PMs on capabilities that reduce attack surface through risk analysis and remediation across managed endpoints. This role reports to the Director of Product Management and is part of a highly collaborative PM team focused on building and evolving tools that IT and security teams rely on to keep endpoints secure and risk exposure low.

Location: Remote work is flexible for candidates residing in the USA in CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, IL, KS, ME, MA, MD, NJ, NC, NY, OR, TN, TX, VA, or WA.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Product Vision & Leadership: Define and evolve the vision for NinjaOne’s endpoint management and security capabilities, ensuring we lead the market in functionality, usability, innovation, and flexibility.
• Roadmap & Prioritization: Contribute to and own key parts of the endpoint management and security roadmap. Evaluate opportunities, set priorities, and make trade‑offs that deliver the most value to customers and the business.
• Endpoint Management Capabilities: Drive product direction for features that identify security gaps and remediate or protect against them.
• Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, support, and other stakeholders to bring new capabilities from concept to delivery, ensuring features are well‑defined, usable, and solve real customer problems.
• Customer & Market Insight: Engage with customers, MSPs, and internal teams to understand how endpoint management and security features are used in practice. Translate insights into product improvements and new capabilities.
• Product Craft & Execution: Write clear product requirements, define workflows and edge cases, and ensure features are delivered to a high standard. Iterate based on feedback and usage data.
• Platform & Ecosystem Thinking: Ensure capabilities work cohesively across NinjaOne and enable other product areas to build on top of them effectively.

About You

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred but not required.
• 5+ years of experience in IT/security or technical roles such as managing or working in an IT helpdesk, at an MSP, or in an internal IT/security team.
• 2+ years of strong product management experience, ideally with B2B SaaS or IT management products.
• Solid background in operating systems or system administration (Windows, macOS, or Linux).
• Experience in endpoint management, device configuration, automation, or scripting.
• Experience in MSP, internal IT, or infrastructure‑focused roles.
• Deep understanding of how IT teams manage endpoints in real‑world environments.
• Comfortable working closely with engineers and understanding technical concepts without needing to write production code.
• Proven ability to take product features from idea to delivery and iterate based on customer feedback.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Data‑informed decision maker who balances customer needs, product quality, and business priorities.
• Able to influence and align stakeholders without formal authority.
• Experience working in a collaborative, multi‑PM environment is a plus.

Due to operational policies, NinjaOne is unable to hire for this role within the city limits of Chicago. We will consider all qualified candidates who reside outside of the city proper or are willing to self‑relocate.

Compensation

Starting pay depends on location, market demands, experience, and skills. For roles based in California, Colorado, Maryland, New Jersey, or Washington the base salary range is $150,000 to $200,000 per year. For roles based in New York the base salary range is similar. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, and PTO.
