Job summary

Avery Dennison is seeking a Product Manager for Electronic Shelf Labels (storeLink ESL) to own the ESL roadmap, analyze unit economics, and drive pilots from initial pilots to enterprise-scale deployments. You will collaborate with engineering, UX, sales, and operations to deliver a market-leading digital signage solution.

The role requires 4+ years of PM experience with ESL or similar hardware-software products, plus experience in retail tech deployments and strong cross-functional leadership.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of product management experience with Electronic Shelf Labels (storeLink ESL)
• Experience with hardware and software integrated products, IoT deployments
• Practical use of AI in daily workflows, with ML/LLM experience preferred
• Deep understanding of retail operations, pricing systems, POS integration, and planogram management

Responsibilities

• Lead product discovery with engineering and UX teams, often directly in stores, to prove value and address viability risks
• Own the storeLink ESL roadmap and ESL unit economics, analyzing per-store costs, labor savings, and margins
• Design strategic pilots with explicit success and kill criteria, ensuring defined test dates and pivots when data dictates
• Partner with sales, operations, legal, and hardware teams to influence roadmap decisions, build pricing models, and coordinate installation and support
• Cultivate high-trust relationships with retailers from initial pilot through long-term operation, positioning storeLink as the strongest ESL solution
• Drive value realization by reducing labor in high-effort store workflows and delivering market-leading digital signage solutions
