Product Manager – E-Commerce & Loyalty Platform

Location:

Deerfield, IL (Remote)

Duration & Type:

Contract through August 31, 2025 (Possible Extension Based on FY25 Budget)

Compensation:

Competitive W2 Hourly Rate ($63-$66), Access to Healthcare and Dental Insurance Plan of Choice. (Benefit Plans can be requested at time of submission to client)

Summary

Chamberlain Advisors is seeking a mid-to-senior level Product Manager to support a platform migration initiative within a large retail and e-commerce environment. This role will focus on delivery execution related to couponing and loyalty systems, working closely with cross-functional engineering teams to drive product development across both front-end and back-end architecture. This position requires a candidate with strong technical fluency, who can work in the weeds with multiple dev teams, manage detailed backlogs, write user stories, and support a fast-moving Scrum cadence. What You’ll Be Accountable For
  • Develop, track, and manage product roadmaps, project plans, scope, and delivery timelines
  • Act as a technical liaison between product, engineering, QA, and business stakeholders
  • Create and maintain detailed product requirements, backlogs, and user stories using tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps
  • Manage day-to-day execution in Scrum teams, ensuring engineering teams remain unblocked and productive
  • Coordinate across multiple technical teams to ensure API integrations and systems align to functional goals
  • Define test plans, facilitate UAT, and support delivery of defect-free product releases
  • Prepare and present cost-benefit analyses and delivery timelines to senior stakeholders
  • Partner with engineering to identify risks, dependencies, and architecture considerations early in the process
  • Own the delivery and implementation of complex features across e-commerce, in-store, and digital loyalty platforms
What Qualifications You Need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field required; MBA or other related advanced degree preferred
  • PMP or PMI certification preferred
  • 5–10 years of product management experience, preferably in large-scale, multi-platform systems
  • Experience delivering technology and business application solutions in e-commerce or retail environments
  • Experience working with loyalty programs, coupons, or promotions systems highly desirable
  • Demonstrated ability to work closely with engineering teams and understand technical system components (APIs, integrations, architecture)
  • Proven experience writing technical product requirements and managing delivery at the Scrum team level
  • Strong ability to assess risk, prioritize backlogs, and communicate clearly with cross-functional teams
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives spanning front-end, back-end, data, and infrastructure
  • Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and presentation skills
