Key Responsibilities:
- Define product vision, strategy, priorities, and roadmap for assigned digital product areas.
- Identify customer and business problems and determine what should be built and why.
- Translate product opportunities into clear requirements, user stories, features, and acceptance criteria.
- Balance customer value, business objectives, technical feasibility, dependencies, and delivery considerations.
- Make product trade-offs and drive prioritization across competing stakeholders.
- Build Better Digital Commerce & Delivery Experiences
- Develop a deep understanding of consumers, merchants, operators, and other users.
- Identify opportunities to improve digital ordering, delivery, fulfillment, engagement, conversion, retention, and overall customer experience.
- Understand how first-party digital experiences connect with third-party marketplace and delivery ecosystems.
- Partner with operations and business teams to understand the impact of digital products on store and fulfillment operations.
- Evaluate dependencies across internal platforms, external partners, APIs, and order-processing systems.
- Partner with Engineering & UX
- Work closely with software engineers to define solutions and ensure successful product releases.
- Collaborate with UX/design teams on research, workflows, wireframes, prototypes, and user experiences.
- Participate in technical discussions involving APIs, microservices, integrations, data, and platform architecture.
- Ensure product requirements are sufficiently detailed for engineering and design teams to execute effectively.
- Use Data to Drive Decisions
- Define KPIs and success criteria for new product initiatives.
- Analyze product performance and customer behavior after launch.
- Use quantitative and qualitative data to identify opportunities and validate product decisions.
- Measure outcomes such as conversion, engagement, retention, repeat usage, operational efficiency, or other relevant business metrics.
- Clearly communicate product impact using measurable results. client specifically looks for candidates who can explain concrete post-launch business outcomes rather than simply stating that a feature was delivered.
- Lead Cross-Functional Execution
- Partner with Engineering, UX, Analytics, Operations, Marketing, Sales, Legal, Compliance, and other stakeholders.
- Drive alignment across teams with different priorities and perspectives.
- Lead initiatives from discovery and problem definition through launch and post-launch optimization.
- Communicate product decisions, priorities, risks, dependencies, and outcomes clearly to technical and business audiences.
- Build trust and momentum while operating as a hands‑on product leader.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- 5+ years of Product Management and/or relevant product/UX experience.
- Demonstrated ownership of product strategy, roadmap, prioritization, and product outcomes.
- Proven experience taking digital products or features from discovery through launch and post-launch measurement.
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
- Working knowledge of:
- APIs
- Microservices
- SQL
- Digital platforms and integrations
- Experience working closely with Engineering and UX/Design.
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership skills.
- High emotional intelligence and ability to build trust across diverse teams.
- Experience in one or more of the following environments is highly preferred:
- Retail
- E-commerce
- Digital commerce
- Consumer technology
- Mobile applications
- On-demand delivery
- Marketplace platforms
- Logistics
- Store operations
- Third-party delivery integrations
