Job summary

Deploy is seeking a Product Manager for the Deploy Data Role to lead data-driven product initiatives. You will collaborate with engineering, design, and enterprise customers to define requirements and drive end-to-end delivery of data-focused features.

You will working across teams to improve platform services used by millions, emphasize productivity, risk management, and continuous improvement, and promote best practices in software engineering and agile delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related technical field.
• Track record of building web products, startup/fast-paced environment.
• Experience with data, analytics, design or engineering.
• Ability to understand tradeoffs and ask engineers insightful questions.
• Strong quantitative background for data-informed decisions.
• Experience with enterprise software or related technical fields.
• Experience leading a team and meeting deadlines.
• Detail oriented, organized and collaborative; hands-on.
• Clear and precise communication skills.
• Self-starter with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects.
• Adaptable to changing, uncertain environments.
• Focus on continuous product improvement.

Responsibilities

• Oversee product execution from inception to delivery.
• Understand enterprise customer needs in depth.
• Translate concepts into specs and tickets; drive shipping.
• Collaborate with engineers, design, sales for timely delivery.
• Decompose complex projects into actionable plans and track progress.
• Manage tradeoffs and align priorities with leadership.
• Identify bottlenecks and mitigate risks; resolve conflicts.
• Communicate plans, status, risks, and mitigations clearly.
• Measure velocity and promote best practices for security and speed.
• Ensure adherence to data handling and information protection policies.
