Job summary

Spotify is seeking a Product Manager to own the strategy and roadmap for the data catalogue, metadata, and data lineage within the Data Platform Studio. You will work with engineers, designers, data scientists, analysts, and ML engineers to make data discovery, understanding, and trust core to Spotify’s data ecosystem.

You will balance user needs with business priorities, governance requirements, and AI-driven shifts in data management, collaborating across teams to deliver high-quality platform

Qualifications

• 2+ years of product management experience on platform products or data infrastructure.
• Technical foundation from CS/engineering or equivalent experience.
• Ability to engage in technical discussions while representing customer and business needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own the product strategy and roadmap for Spotify's data catalogue, metadata, and data lineage.
• Diagnose needs of data engineers, data scientists, analysts, ML engineers, and AI agents.
• Identify high-impact problems and balance user needs with business priorities and governance.
• Evaluate solutions via building, buying, or integrating third-party products.
• Define success metrics and KPIs for adoption, value, and impact.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, analytics, and data teams to shape platform investments.
• Influence stakeholders across Data Platform Studio and Spotify to align on direction.
• Shape metadata, governance, discoverability, lineage, and trust in an AI-driven world.
