Accelerant is seeking a Product Manager for the Data Platform to identify and deliver high-impact data-driven capabilities across the Risk Exchange. You will work with stakeholders across Finance, Distribution, and Operations to translate business needs into AI-enabled data solutions and rapid iterations.

You will own the roadmap for data ingestion and consumption, drive OKRs aligned with company goals, and partner with engineering and design to deliver high-value, differentiated data products.

The Role ofProduct ManagerDataPlatform

At Accelerant, we are revolutionizing the insurance industry through ourAI drivenRisk Exchange platform, which processes and handles mission-critical financial data for participants across the insurance ecosystemand provides unprecedentedvisibility intoportfolioperformance.

As Product ManagerData Platformat Accelerant, you willidentifyanddeliver high impactdata drivencapabilitiesacross the Accelerant Risk Exchangeplatformwith a focus onincreasing Accelerant’s differentiation through data resulting invaluefor ourRisk Exchangeparticipants.You’llwork closely withkey stakeholders at our strategic partners,ourFinanceteam, our Distribution team,and Operationsteamamong othersto identify high value opportunities to solve mission critical business problems.You will then work withEngineering,Architecture,and otherProduct Managersto deliver solutions leveraging an AI-Native approach.You willwork in a fast-paced environment harnessing newAI basedtechnologiesenabling rapid evaluations anditerationsprovidingopportunities to react to feedbackand deliver value early and often.

What You’ll Do

Strategy & Discovery

• Define and evolve the Accelerant Data Platform by gathering requirements from all stakeholders and applying them in a forward-thinking way to support the Risk Exchange strategy and company objectives

• You will focus onidentifying opportunities to delivervalue toAccelerant through solutions that enable the Risk Exchange to scalein a highly efficient manner,thatsolve real-world challengesthrough data, enable data driven business decisions, andprovideunparalleledexperiencesthrough high data quality and value

• Working with other Product Managers,Engineers,Architects,and Designersto ensure the delivery of high value, high quality, and differentiated solutions that delight our usersandmeets or beats alldesired outcomes

• Collaborate seamlessly withexternal customers,Operations,Business Solutions Group, and otherfunctionsthroughout Accelerant, serving as a liaison between business needs anddataplatformdeliverables tocontinue to maintaindifferentiationfor Accelerant

Execution & Delivery

• Collaborativelydevelop and own the roadmap fordataingestionand consumptionon our platformwith a keen focus onoptimizingthe experience whenever possible

• Ensure full understanding of Accelerant company goalsand work collaboratively with your team to defineObjectives and Key Results (OKRs) in alignment with company goalsand then execute to meet or exceed those goals

• Prioritize and manage a clearoutcome drivenbacklog in collaboration withthe business,Engineering and technical leads, ensuring clarity of scope and alignment with team goalswhile ensuringiterative andhigh-qualitydeliverables

• Champion a culture ofAI-native,rapid experimentation, quick iterations, rapid feedback loops,andcontinuous improvement as it pertains tovalue delivery whileproactivelyidentifyingopportunities for optimization and enhancement

Collaboration & Communication

• Communicate strategy, plans,and platform outcomesto all levels of roles both inside and outside Accelerant

• Work with other Product Managers and functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality, high-impactdata productsand platform solutions

• Collaborate seamlessly withOperations,Business Solutions Group, and other functions throughout Accelerant,serving as a liaison between business needs anddataplatform deliverablesand communicate progressoften and effectively

• Co-create with Product Design to shape intuitive workflows, test product concepts, and improve usability through iteration.

You’ll Be Successful If You Have

• At least3years experienceas a Product Managerdelivering commercial productstaking an outcome drivenapproach

• Background in data-rich product domainsand how ML & AI can be used to maximize value from dataand solutions

• Experience with AI-native productivity and creation tools such as Replit, Cursor, V0 (Vercel), etc.todevelop prototypes used to rapidly validate desired outcomes

• Comfort ininterpreting andunderstandingbusiness requirementswhilecollaborating withtechnicalteams to define solutions.

• Experience in Financial Services and/or Insurance marketespecially with insurer/carrier data delivery

• Experience working with modern data platforms such as Snowflake

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially when working across disciplines.

• Ability to work independently, navigate ambiguity, and make progress without full directionespecially with driving business requirements to conclusion by understanding data in detail, employing previous experience to assist in breaking “log jams” and getting agreement and sign off

• Experience in solving data challengesincluding the ability toquery and understanddata

• Experience working with and managing geographically distributed engineering teams.

• Demonstrated success working with C-level executives

• Commitment to ongoing learning and staying informed about emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices

• A big-picture perspective with a passion for success and willingness to dive into the details necessary to achieve it
