Overview

Join the team as Twilio’s next Product Manager, Data Pipelines. At Twilio, we’re shaping the future of communications with remote-first work, a culture of connection, and global inclusion. This role will own core components of Segment’s data movement layer, including our Connections product and the pipelines that underpin our Customer Data Platform (CDP). This position bridges product, engineering, and go-to-market teams to ensure data pipelines are robust, scalable, and differentiated in the market. It requires a deep platform thinker who is passionate about solving data problems at scale (over 23 billion daily events) and navigating a vast partner ecosystem (500+ sources/destinations).

Responsibilities
  • Define and maintain the platform vision, strategy, and roadmap for Data Pipelines
  • Drive improvements in delivery performance and reliability, including addressing constraints of partner APIs, implementing system safeguards, and optimizing event processing
  • Enhance customer trust and platform transparency by introducing product-level features for data security, governance, and control
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities to improve efficiency through batching, delivery freshness, and quality assurance measures

Required:

  • 5+ years of product management experience in data infrastructure, integration platforms, or large-scale SaaS
  • Proven success managing products that bridge technical platform capabilities and customer-facing use cases
  • Strong technical understanding of data pipelines, event streaming, and API integrations
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with experience working across engineering, partnerships, and customer-facing teams
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value for diverse audiences

Desired:

  • Experience working directly with CDP or integrations products
  • Experience in highly-scaled data volume products
Location

This role will be remote, but is not eligible to be hired in CA, CT, NJ, NY, PA, WA.

Travel

We prioritize connection and opportunities to build relationships with our customers and each other. For this role, you may be required to travel occasionally to participate in project or team in-person meetings.

Compensation

*Please note this role is open to candidates outside of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Washington D.C., and Washington State. The information below is provided for candidates hired in those locations only.

  • Based in Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Vermont or Washington D.C. : $184,500 - 230,700
  • Based in New York, New Jersey, Washington State, or California (outside of the San Francisco Bay area): $195,300 - 244,200
  • Based in the San Francisco Bay area, California: $217,000 - 271,300
  • This role may be eligible to participate in Twilio’s equity plan and corporate bonus plan. All roles are generally eligible for the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave

The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
