Your Responsibilities

The John Deere Intelligent Solutions Group (ISG) is seeking a Product Manager - Data Completeness to lead the definition and delivery of whole farm record keeping. This role focuses on building solutions that enable farmers to store complete digital records within the John Deere Operations Center. Your mission will be to develop solutions that capture, collect, and digitize every possible piece of farm data, such as soil samples, tile lines, aerial & drone spraying data, boundaries, and PDFs. Responsibilities include:

• Understanding farm recording needs, including important data types, capture methods, and current storage solutions.
• Defining a prioritized roadmap of new data sources for ingestion into the Operations Center, collaborating with other product teams to translate, store, and visualize this data.
• Translating customer needs into product features and requirements, ensuring a great customer experience through effective communication with UX, engineering, and production teams.
• Applying domain knowledge, business judgment, and technical understanding to inform strategic decisions.
• Collaborating with other product managers, delivery teams, sales, marketing, and customer support to ensure marketplace success.

What Skills You Need

• 3+ years of experience in technology product development (software and/or hardware).
• Knowledge of the John Deere Tech Stack (Connectivity, Guidance, and Displays).
• Excellent communication skills to inspire and coordinate across teams.
• Strategic thinking with attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel approximately 25%, including internationally.

What Makes You Stand Out

• Experience and knowledge in Agriculture.
• Experience working directly with production agriculture customers using Deere tech.
• Strong design sensibilities and ability to create user-friendly products.
• Technical enough to engage with engineers but not necessarily coding.

Education

Ideally, an undergraduate degree or equivalent in agricultural studies, engineering, computer science, or related fields.
