Job description

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of Mark43. We are currently looking for a Product Manager – Cybersecurity in the United States.

This is a rare opportunity to define and lead the development of a new cybersecurity product line from the ground up. In this highly visible and mission-driven role, you will collaborate closely with security experts, engineers, and public safety clients to shape tools that help agencies navigate complex compliance and data protection challenges. If you're passionate about building secure, scalable software that directly supports first responders and public safety, this role puts you at the forefront of real-world impact, innovation, and service.

Accountabilities:

  • Lead the creation and development of cybersecurity and compliance-focused products, translating public safety customer challenges into effective solutions.
  • Conduct deep customer discovery, including interviews and research into regulatory frameworks such as CJIS, NIST, and FedRAMP.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, and the CISO to define product requirements, write user stories, and prioritize development for MVP and long-term releases.
  • Drive the product roadmap, go-to-market strategies, and cross-functional coordination to align with organizational vision and customer needs.
  • Ensure product integrity by paying attention to detail, aligning features with compliance demands, and iterating based on user feedback.
  • At least 5 years of product management experience, preferably in a SaaS or enterprise software environment.
  • Proven ability to write clear product requirements and user stories, conduct customer interviews, and drive product strategy.
  • Experience working with engineering and design teams in agile environments.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity and compliance domains is a strong plus (e.g., FedRAMP, CJIS, NIST), but not required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and collaboration across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Curiosity, adaptability, and a drive to innovate in complex and regulated environments.
  • Ability to work remotely and independently across multiple time zones and locations.
  • Remote-first work flexibility across eligible U.S. states.
  • Opportunity to lead greenfield product initiatives with tangible impact on public safety.
  • Competitive compensation package and benefits.
  • Supportive, inclusive team environment with strong mentorship culture.
  • Paid time off and leave policies.
  • Access to professional development and wellness resources.
  • Reasonable accommodations for applicants and employees with disabilities.
