As the Product Manager Consultant at Blue Shield of California, you will be a strategic leader within the Member Engagement Engine / Clinical Engagement Team. Reporting to the Senior Manager, you are tasked with defining the strategic direction and overseeing the execution of digital engagement initiatives that personalize member experiences. Your role is vital in leveraging digital technologies to guide members toward cost-effective, high-quality healthcare services, in alignment with our mission to enhance health outcomes and reduce healthcare costs through effective digital interventions.

Your Knowledge and Experience

• A Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field is required
• Graduate degree is highly desirable
• 6-8 years experience in Product Management Consulting or Entrepreneurship required
• 6-8 years experience in digital product management, digital health strategy, or management consulting with a focus on personalization and clinical engagement preferred
• Extensive experience in leading digital health initiatives, with a proven track record in developing and implementing personalization strategies
• Understanding of population health management and its application in digital engagement platforms
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive strategy and innovation in a complex healthcare environment
• Expertise in data analytics, user experience design, and predictive modeling to enhance personalization and member engagement
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively lead cross-functional teams and interact with diverse stakeholders

Experience with AI and machine learning tools in a healthcare setting highly preferred.

Hybrid

This role requires employees to be in-office based on our hybrid workplace model, balancing purposeful in-person collaboration with flexibility. For most teams, this means coming into the office two days each week. Employees living more than 50 miles from an office location will work with their manager to determine in-office time based on business need.
