Job summary

Lila Sciences, Inc. in Cambridge, MA seeks a Product Manager to own the Chemistry AISF product layer, turning scientific ambition and AI needs into a prioritized capability roadmap and clear requirements for engineering teams to scope and implement.

You will partner with program leadership and AISF Engineering to define scope, milestones, and build-versus-buy decisions, ensuring the product delivers impact across chemistry domains and automation platforms.

Qualifications

• MS, PhD, or equivalent in chemistry or related field.
• 5+ years in product management or related roles delivering complex hardware/software systems.
• Ability to discuss reaction workup, purification, analytical characterization, or nanoparticle formulation.
• Experience writing requirements engineers can build from.
• Comfort making prioritization calls with incomplete information and documenting reasoning.

Responsibilities

• Set the product vision, roadmap, and priorities for Chemistry AISF.
• Translate needs into a prioritized roadmap and detailed requirements.
• Define capability delivery criteria including scope, throughput, performance, autonomy.
• Co-own program charter, capital plan, resourcing, and phasing.
• Drive product execution from concept through commissioning.
• Decide build-versus-buy and platform architecture for scaling.
• Represent the AISF to executives, partners, and customers as product voice.
