Job summary

SandboxAQ seeks a Principal Technical Product Manager for Catalysis within the AI Simulation ChemSim division. You will own the end-to-end Catalysis product strategy, translate customer needs into requirements, and drive a roadmap bridging government objectives and commercial expansion.

You will collaborate with Application Scientists, ML teams, and Business Development to turn catalysis capabilities into a scalable software and services offering.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in product management, with ownership of a technically deep product.
• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Materials Science or equivalent.
• Experience shipping AI/ML-driven scientific software to external paying customers.
• Ability to translate partner requirements into product requirements and roadmaps.
• Strong domain grounding in materials science, catalysis, chemistry, or chemical engineering.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end Catalysis product strategy, roadmap, and delivery including CHIPS Act objectives.
• Synthesize customer needs with Application Scientists and Business Development into prioritized product requirements.
• Define dataset and model requirements for catalysis and benchmarking.
• Drive commercial strategy with GTM, pricing, and partnerships to enable revenue growth.
• Build partnerships with fabs, equipment OEMs, and chemical producers and translate partner needs into features.
