Product Manager, Cardiometabolic

As the Core Lab market leader in the US, the team excels at identifying, commercializing, and managing reagent solutions that enable our customers to meet their priorities, including improving patient outcomes.
We seek an experienced professional driven by deep customer insights and strong business acumen to bring value to laboratorians, physicians, and patients in the Cardiometabolic therapeutic area. The Product Manager owns the Cardiometabolic portfolio, developing strategies, identifying product requirements, and maintaining and growing solutions in the US market. This requires a deep understanding of the disease area, market, competition, customer needs, and strong skills in financial analysis, pricing, business planning, data-driven decision making, and forecasting.
This role demands proven technical expertise, exceptional project management, communication skills, and leadership ability without direct authority. Collaboration with various stakeholders—Marketing, Sales, Customer Insights, Finance, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Global teams—is essential. The Product Manager ensures our portfolio remains competitive, high-quality, and market-leading.
This is a pivotal time, with multiple high-value assay launches planned, along with studies and data enhancing our portfolio's value. The Cardiometabolic portfolio is our top performer, crucial to our continued leadership. The Product Manager plays a key role in our long-term success and should be prepared to own and represent this vital disease area.
The Product Manager reports to the Group Marketing Manager and is part of the Reagents team, managing the full Core Lab assay portfolio (excluding Mass Spec).
Develops and executes comprehensive portfolio strategies, including product requirements, pricing, and launch plans.
Gathers customer insights to influence product requirements and strategy.
Collaborates with the Senior Marketing Manager and other teams to drive adoption of solutions across the US.
Builds business cases and pricing strategies for current and pipeline products, supporting business planning.
Creates forecasts and business plans to support growth, in partnership with demand planning.
Develops expertise in market segments, trends, competition, and customer needs through stakeholder interactions.
Supports customer interactions, including meetings, visits, and conferences, alongside marketing and clinical teams.
Leads by example, motivating and empowering others to succeed.
You hold a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Business, Marketing, or related fields.
You have 5 years of product management, marketing, or healthcare experience.
Strong business acumen, especially in data analysis, financial modeling, and forecasting.
Excellent project management and cross-functional leadership skills.
Technical aptitude with the ability to learn and communicate technical topics.
Understanding of the Cardiometabolic market or similar healthcare markets.
Organized, detail-oriented, able to manage multiple projects independently.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Knowledge of laboratory operations and diagnostics is a plus.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google tools.
Willingness to travel as needed.
Based onsite in Indianapolis.

The salary range is $97,800 - $181,600, depending on experience and other factors. Benefits are available as detailed on the company website.
