Job summary

Automated Financial Systems, LLC is seeking a Product Manager, Capital Markets to own the Capital Markets workflows within the AFSVision platform, including syndications, loan trading, and participations.

You will translate market trends and client feedback into a prioritized roadmap, collaborate with design and engineering, and ensure regulatory and security considerations are baked into every release.

Qualifications

• Subject matter expertise in commercial lending, private credit operations, CLOs, or loan syndication operations is strongly preferred.
• Experience owning a product or product area in an enterprise B2B or SaaS environment, with a clear orientation toward client outcomes and commercial results.
• Hands-on fluency with AI tooling for research synthesis, requirement and user story drafting, prototype generation, and test analysis.
• Background in commercial lending, banking, credit/loan financial services, or related fintech, or demonstrated ability to develop deep functional expertise quickly.
• Demonstrated ability to take capabilities from concept through requirements, delivery, and launch, with measurable adoption after release.
• Experience validating concepts with real users in small rounds and acting on the result.

Responsibilities

• Define the product vision and multi-year strategy for Capital Markets within the AFSVision suite.
• Own a prioritized, sequenced roadmap across syndications, participations, trader workstation, funds management, and loan trading.
• Discover continuously via client interviews, support tickets, telemetry, and sales calls; synthesize into a maintained opportunity backlog.
• Frame opportunities as measurable outcomes with evidence attached before solution work begins.
• Map assumptions to requirements, user stories, edge cases, and non-functional constraints.
• Prototype against riskiest assumptions using design system components and bounded data.
• Validate with 5–8 users per round; draft test scripts and verdicts per assumption.
• Decide loops and revise or kill opportunities based on economics, architecture, and time-to-market.
• Harvest validated prototypes with engineering and design triad; produce reusable patterns for the design system.
• Partner with engineering and design through production build; ensure architecture, state, performance, accessibility, and tests are owned.
• Instrument releases with defined success metrics feeding a product performance dashboard.
• Disposition: decide what productizes into the roadmap and what returns to other teams, documenting rationale.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing to align Capital Markets capabilities with GTM strategies.
• Communicate progress and trade-offs to executives, engineering leads, internal partners, and clients.
• Ensure regulatory, security, and audit requirements are treated as design inputs.
