Product Manager - BizOps, People eXperience & Technology Central Science (PXTCS)

Workforce Solutions is seeking a Product Manager to support our business operations function. Business Operations is the intersection between technology functions and our day-to-day operations. We develop and manage the products that drive long-term strategic planning, operating rhythm, business reviews, and goals to align priorities and resources throughout the org. We implement these products with clear communication, align business objectives with key performance indicators, and manage their lifecycle to ensure our organization runs smoothly. We foster cross-functional collaboration, working closely with key stakeholders including People, eXperience & Technology (PXT) leadership, finance, and our peer talent acquisition teams. This is an exciting opportunity that will have high visibility impact on our organization!

This role will need to influence cross-functional partner teams, so the ideal candidate needs to be highly collaborative and able to influence without authority, while also being able to work with significant autonomy. To be successful in this role you must be highly analytical, have a high level of customer focus, and a passion for process and tool improvement.

Key job responsibilities
• Improve and simplify standardized products and mechanisms for business operations and communications.
• Support the annual process for resource and strategic planning by developing and managing appropriate tools.
• Develop and maintain products for tracking and reporting on goals and initiatives of the department.
• Help drive changes in the organization with change management and clear communication, leveraging appropriate tools and platforms.
• Establish close working relationships with internal business leaders to maintain two-way, open communication and dialogue about operational needs and solutions.
• Develop strategic messaging for internal communications that support business operations objectives (goal planning, operating rhythm, etc.)
• Produce communication content for a variety of internal channels, including but not limited to organizational emails, newsletters, videos, keynotes, and town hall meetings.
• Create and manage metrics strategy to understand impact associated with business operations deliverables, communications, and other strategy initiatives and programs.


A day in the life
The ideal candidate will have deep experience and working knowledge of business principles, with the ability to translate these into effective operational products. They'll operate effectively in an ambiguous environment and have a demonstrated track record of managing multiple projects and driving them to completion. They will find opportunities to standardize and simplify across the team's operational toolkit, step back to understand the broader context behind issues, and offer solutions.

About the team
In this role you'll join the team that is the guiding force of the organization, including driving the development and improvement of our business operations (e.g., business review tools, goal-tracking systems, annual planning frameworks) and long-term strategic planning tools. You'll help us become more operational by implementing continuous improvement best practices and managing the development of tools and processes to make our organization more efficient and effective.- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience as a product manager or owner
- Experience owning technology products- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
