Base pay range

$80,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr

About the Role

The ideal candidate is an analytical team player who will be responsible for leading a team of high performing individuals who own the entire product lifecycle from strategy to evaluation. You will also work cross-functionally to complete product roadmaps and discover new opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute product strategies for biology-related educational and scientific products.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive analysis.
• Collaborate with R&D, sales, and marketing teams to design and launch new products.
• Manage the product lifecycle from concept to launch, including pricing, positioning, and promotion.
• Ensure product quality and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Provide training and support to sales teams and customers on product features and benefits.
• Monitor product performance and implement improvements based on customer feedback.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including educators, researchers, and industry partners.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of biological sciences and the ability to translate scientific concepts into marketable products.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficiency in using product management software and tools.
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically and creatively to drive product innovation and growth.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, preferably within the scientific or educational industry.
• Proven track record of successfully managing and launching biology-related products or services.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams, including research and development, marketing, and sales.
• Prior experience in developing and executing product strategies that align with business goals.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Life Sciences, or a related field is required.
• A Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a related field is preferred.
