Job description

AI is the new electricity. Millions of AI engineers are needed to transform industries with AI, particularly in the realm of GenAI, and we're building the education products to train them. With a mission to empower everyone to build with AI, DeepLearning.AI is an education technology company that is empowering the global workforce to build an AI-powered future. We're a small ed-tech company with serious credentials, exciting courses, and wonderful teammates.

DeepLearning.AI is looking for a Product Manager (B2B) to own the product experience for our enterprise and business customers. You'll work closely with our B2B team to understand what our B2B customers need, and translate that into a product roadmap that serves both individual corporate learners and the organizations that sponsor them. The ideal candidate is a creative self-starter who can work collaboratively and independently to execute new ideas and projects, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has a passion for AI and education.

We are headquartered in Mountain View, California and this is an in-person in-office role.

This position is open to candidates based in the United States. For U.S.-based candidates, you must either already possess or be eligible to obtain authorization to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities
  • Own the product strategy, roadmap and feature delivery for DeepLearning.AI's corporate training offering.
  • Partner closely with enterprise sales, engineering and customer success to understand the needs of our business customers — learning platform, analytics and reporting, learner success goals.
  • Translate enterprise customer requirements (e.g. learning analytics dashboards, usage reporting, custom learning paths, LMS integration, data privacy/security needs etc.) into clear product specs for engineering and design.
  • Build prototypes to quickly validate product ideas and test product market fit; create code/design handoff artifacts to engineering for productionized implementation.
  • Support enterprise sales cycles when needed — join customer calls, scope custom requests, and represent the product roadmap to prospective and existing B2B accounts.
  • Work collaboratively and cross-functionally with engineering, design, and the curriculum product team to ship features that serve enterprise buyers and learners, as well as B2C learners.
Qualifications
  • 0 to 1 product mindset in order to build out a revenue stream as the first dedicated B2B product manager.
  • AI fluency, ability to code. Strong conceptual understanding of AI technologies, or the ability to develop this knowledge very quickly. Familiarity and experience with AI-powered coding tools such as Claude Code or Cursor, having built or prototyped software for personal or professional use.
  • Adequate technical proficiency to prototype and scope features, understand technical requirements and converse effectively and credibly with engineers.
  • Understanding of the B2B user mindset (buyers and learners) - expected features, decision making criteria and pressures.
  • Ability to prioritize work effort and investment, informed by data.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and a passion for AI-powered education.
  • prior experience in edtech, corporate L&D, or workforce upskilling products.
  • Experience running or supporting enterprise sales cycles (pre-sales, solutions engineering, or similar).

DeepLearning.AI offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) plan, a monthly education stipend, flexible PTO, and much more.

At DeepLearning.AI, we are committed to fostering a workplace of mutual respect and equal opportunity. We hire based on qualifications, merit, and business needs, without discrimination on any characteristic - whether protected by applicable laws or not. Our goal is to attract, recruit, develop, and retain the best talent from a diverse candidate pool.

  • Join a world-class team of experts across marketing, operations, product, and more - working to change the world.
  • Collaborate globally with colleagues across cultures and geographies.
  • Bring high-impact ideas to life with the freedom to be exceptionally creative.
  • Work directly with AI visionary Andrew Ng and help shape the future of AI education at scale.
  • We care deeply about our learners: We let our learner's needs guide our actions and decisions and put our mission ahead of ourselves.
  • We are great at what we do: We strive for excellence in all dimensions, especially in the quality of the content we create and the people we hire.
  • We default to action: We are comfortable acting with limited information and taking ownership of our decisions.
  • We ask why: We ask the hard questions and are open to being in the wrong. We advocate for the best ideas, not our ideas.
  • We are honest and authentic: We are transparent as an organization, over-communicate to build trust, and share our failures just as we do our successes.
  • We do this together: We help each other grow and succeed and have fun at work, even in a remote environment.
