Apple Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Product Manager to shape the future of spatial computing with Vision Pro. You will blend product management and product marketing to guide concepts through development to launch, collaborating with design, engineering, finance, legal, and PR.

Description

At Apple, we combine product management and product marketing responsibilities into a single, cross functional Product Management role that collaborates with design, engineering, finance, legal, marketing communications, public relations, market research, sales and support for maximum impact across the organization.We are looking for a highly motivated Product Manager to help shape the future of spatial computing with Apple Vision Pro. As an Apple Vision Pro Product Manager you will have a seat at the table to help define and drive the most ambitious product Apple’s ever built while being responsible for how new and existing AR products and features are launched and marketed.

Responsibilities

• Partnering with engineering and design to develop the Vision Pro product strategy with a deep understand of Vision Pro customers and the business
• Working in a global cross-functional team with engineering, industrial and product design, marketing communications, retail, and public relations through the complete product development lifecycle
• Being in possession of expert knowledge of competitive products
• Developing the core foundational product positioning and messaging for Vision Pro and spatial computing
• Working with marketing communications, PR and events on the development of product launch activities, press releases, and marketing materials
• Traveling the world as the ambassador for your product attending trade shows, customer visits, and press briefings

Minimum Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in product management, product strategy and/or product marketing roles, including experience managing a complex product portfolio
• Hands-on experience formulating product messaging and creating outbound marketing for both technical and consumer audiences, and partnering with engineering during early research and development to define product strategy and roadmap, and with marketing and public relations to craft positioning, and define marketing activities
• Recent experience within the last 3 years in spatial computing/AR/VR, wearables, emerging hardware technologies (AI hardware, drones, self-driving cars, 3D printing, robotics, etc), computer/display technologies, or adjacent
• Ability to drive communication with key stakeholders, the media, and public, as demonstrated by exceptional presentation skills: developing keynote addresses in an area of deep subject matter expertise, synthesizing information, applying critical thinking and maintaining composure under pressure
• Obsession with spatial computing/AR/VR technology and the Vision Pro customer experience, evidenced by being a super user of these products, holding a deep understanding of competitive trends, and/or having an informed and well-developed perspective on AR/VR users

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong analytical abilities and an uncompromising attention to detail with the ability to operate seamlessly between highly detailed and technical situations as well as strategic business situations
• The ability to think clearly to see the big picture and innovate down to the details
• A track record in formulating product messaging and creating outbound marketing
• Exceptional interpersonal skills; thrives in highly collaborative projects, effective at building consensus, handles high stakes decisions with ease with the ability to cut through ambiguity
• The ability to balance multiple projects and thrive in a fast paced and dynamic environment
• Proven oral and written communication skills; ability to become fluent in technical concepts and explain to non-technical partners
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally
• Experience in spatial computing, AR / VR / MR a plus

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $144,600 and $263,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
