Job summary

Bloomberg is seeking a senior product manager to lead the IPQA analytics architecture and scale model delivery across Terminal, Enterprise Data and Enterprise Products. You will bridge quantitative finance, engineering and product strategy to deliver client-focused analytics with a model-agnostic framework ensuring consistency and transparency across asset classes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in financial technology, quantitative finance or a related field within a major financial institution or technology provider.
• Strong understanding of financial models and analytics, whether gained through a technical, front office or product role.
• Experience driving large, complex initiatives across multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to define and articulate analytics architecture concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong knowledge of financial instruments across asset classes, including derivatives, fixed income and structured products.
• Awareness of the regulatory landscape and how evolving requirements shape client analytics needs.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the analytics strategy in close collaboration with our quant, engineering and financial engineering teams.
• Lead complex, multi-workstream programs end to end, coordinating across product, engineering, quants, model validation and QA teams to ensure high quality releases to clients.
• Gather, refine and translate requirements from a broad range of internal and external stakeholders into clear, actionable product specifications.
• Lead our analytics roadmap, working collaboratively with our engineering partners and bringing strong domain-specific views to shape the continued evolution of our analytics capabilities.
• Engage directly with clients across all stages, from presenting the analytics vision to gathering requirements and supporting successful implementations.
• Stay ahead of regulatory developments and market trends that shape client analytics needs, ensuring the analytics roadmap reflects both current obligations and forward-looking demand.

The Instruments, Pricing & Quant Analytics (IPQA) group is responsible for the foundational instrument management, data, pricing, risk and quantitative analytics capabilities that feed all of Bloomberg's products. We work across Bloomberg Terminal, Enterprise Data and Enterprise Products, ensuring consistency and interoperability across all of Bloomberg.

Within this organisation, the Instruments & Analytics Platform team delivers core instrument management, lifecycle and scalable analytics that support Bloomberg's cross-asset workflows.

What's the role?

We are looking for a senior product manager to run IPQA's analytics architecture and drive model delivery at scale, ensuring our analytics continue to lead as client and market needs evolve. You will work at the intersection of quantitative finance, engineering and product strategy, translating a complex, ambitious vision into concrete outcomes for Bloomberg's clients across Terminal, Enterprise Data and Enterprise Products.

At the core of this role is a founding conviction: analytics at scale require a model-agnostic design, where the architecture enforces consistency and transparency across models, asset classes and client workflows. You will work closely with our quant and engineering teams to shape and deliver this vision, advancing a framework built on shared calibrations, common numerical methods and uniform model settings across Bloomberg Terminal, Enterprise Data and Enterprise Products.

You will manage large, cross-functional initiatives, navigate complex stakeholder dynamics with clarity and confidence, and communicate the value and outcomes of our analytics to clients and senior leadership alike.

We'll trust you to:

• Define and drive the analytics strategy in close collaboration with our quant, engineering and financial engineering teams, from advancing our analytics architecture to advancing our model capabilities across asset classes, translating needs from clients, sales and specialist partners into clear product direction
• Lead complex, multi-workstream programs end to end, coordinating across product, engineering, quants, model validation and QA teams to ensure high quality releases to clients
• Gather, refine and translate requirements from a broad range of internal and external stakeholders into clear, actionable product specifications
• Lead our analytics roadmap, working collaboratively with our engineering partners and bringing strong domain-specific views to shape the continued evolution of our analytics capabilities

You’ll need to have:

• 10+ years of experience in financial technology, quantitative finance or a related field within a major financial institution or technology provider
• Strong understanding of financial models and analytics, whether gained through a technical, front office or product role. What matters is that you have been close enough to the process to question assumptions, understand tradeoffs and influence how analytics are built and delivered
• Experience driving large, complex initiatives across multiple teams and stakeholders, with a track record of delivering results in dynamic, fast-moving environments
• Ability to define and articulate analytics architecture concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Strong knowledge of financial instruments across asset classes, including derivatives, fixed income and structured products
• Awareness of the regulatory landscape and how evolving requirements shape client analytics needs

We’d love to see:

• Familiarity with scalable analytics systems in large financial institutions or technology providers, and an understanding of what it takes to continue scaling them
• Some experience with AI or machine learning, whether in a quantitative, product or technology context
• Direct client engagement experience, whether through onboarding, implementation or advisory interactions with senior stakeholders
• A track record of getting things done in high complexity environments, demonstrated through leading a major regulatory program, building a system from scratch or delivering a large scale initiative across a large organisation
• Experience with payoff languages or domain specific languages used in financial contract representation

Salary Range = 140,000-295,000 USD Annual+ Benefits + Bonus

The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
