Job summary

Avathon is hiring a Product Manager to lead the integrated demand planning module and downstream planning workflows, owning the process from consensus demand to executable supply decisions. You will partner with engineering, data science, and customers to deliver a robust planning experience.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in product management for supply chain planning software, a solid grasp of ML-based forecasting, and experience with planning platforms (SAP IBP, Kinaxis, o9, Blue Yonder,

Qualifications

5+ years of product management experience in supply chain planning software (demand planning, S&OP, inventory, or supply planning).
Understanding of statistical and ML-based forecasting methods and forecast accuracy metrics.
Ability to write clear product requirements for data-heavy features (pipelines, model integration, analytics).
Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative/technical field; MBA is a plus.

Responsibilities

Own the demand planning module – forecasting, ML-based sensing, and collaborative demand review workflows.
Define requirements for demand segmentation, forecast value-add tracking, and bias/accuracy analytics.
Drive integration between demand signals and the planning engine; own demand-supply matching.
Design inventory repositioning workstreams – stock holding, rebalancing across locations, and trade-offs for planners.
Shape the vision for agentic planning and define interactions with AI agents and planners.
