BICP, a San Diego-based AI, Data & Analytics consultancy, seeks an experienced Product Manager, Agentic AI, to join our team in an embedded capacity with a strategic client in apparel/retail. You will drive AI product discovery, define roadmaps, and collaborate with AI engineers and business stakeholders to deliver production-ready solutions.

You will translate complex concepts into clear business decisions, guide prioritization, and own adoption, with accountability for measurable business

BICP, a San Diego-based consulting firm specializing in AI, Data & Analytics, is seeking an experienced Product Manager, Agentic AI to join our team in an embedded capacity with one of our strategic clients in the apparel and retail industry. This role will work directly with our client’s business and technical teams, taking new AI products from initial discovery through production launch and adoption.

You’ll partner closely with AI engineers, data scientists, engineering leaders, and business stakeholders. We’re looking for someone who listens carefully, brings structure to ambiguity, and stays involved through delivery—with accountability for measurable business results.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead product discovery with business teams to understand workflows, challenges, and opportunities for AI.
• Evaluate potential use cases based on business value, technical feasibility, data readiness, and adoption requirements.
• Define product vision, roadmaps, requirements, acceptance criteria, and success measures.
• Partner with engineers and data scientists to deliver products from prototype through reliable production use.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear business decisions and communicate priorities across teams.
• Guide decisions about where agentic AI adds value and where simpler automation, analytics, or traditional software is more appropriate.
• Work with technical teams to address evaluation, reliability, permissions, human oversight, and enterprise integration.
• Own launch planning, user feedback, adoption, and ongoing product improvement.

Required Qualifications

• Experience owning software or data products from discovery through launch, including building new products from the ground up.
• Demonstrated experience delivering AI or ML capabilities into production.
• Practical understanding of generative AI, LLMs, agent workflows, retrieval, tool use, and their limitations.
• Experience working directly with developers, data scientists, and technical architects to make delivery decisions and resolve tradeoffs.
• Ability to turn loosely defined business needs into clear priorities and executable product plans.
• Strong listening, written communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• A hands-on approach to delivery and a track record of driving user adoption and measurable outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience launching agentic AI or LLM-powered products within an enterprise.
• Familiarity with data platforms, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and AI evaluation and monitoring.
• Experience in retail, apparel, consumer products, merchandising, planning, supply chain, or customer experience.
• Experience establishing product practices within a growing team.
