Job summary

Slate Automotive LLC seeks a Product Manager to bring our accessories portfolio to life in a fast-paced US startup. You’ll translate customer needs into compelling hardware products and partner with Brand, Design, Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, Legal, and Commercial teams.

This role leads the end-to-end lifecycle, builds business cases, defines features, and manages licensing and reseller aspects. Travel 10–25% and drive on-time, on-budget launches that reinforce Slate’s brand.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, engineering, or equivalent; MS/MBA a plus.
• 6+ years of experience in hardware products and programs, preferably automotive/power sports accessories, lifestyle accessories, engineering, or product development.
• Proven track record of taking products from concept to creation, with strong project management, analytical, and communication skills.
• Comfortable in start‑up environments; proactive teammate with continuous improvement mindset.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with partners, suppliers, and vendors; able to influence senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own a category of the accessories portfolio end to end — performance, customer satisfaction, and company impact.
• Build and defend the business case for new products; define features and specs; lead trade‑off decisions and business execution.
• Execute and improve the product development process; manage end‑to‑end cycle and sunset planning.
• Collaborate with Design, Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, Legal, Brand, and Commercial teams for on‑time, on‑budget delivery.
• Create presentations and documentation; present to cross‑functional leadership with updates and recommendations.
